ICMA Fintech & Digitalisation update: 2026 strategic priorities & H1 review - APAC briefing
This webinar was the first dedicated session for the APAC community which provided an update on ICMA’s priorities and initiatives that support the ongoing digital transformation of the capital markets. It provided an overview of ICMA’s strategic priorities and a recap of the key developments from the first half of the year.
The update focused on DLT-based bonds, the integration of AI across the different stages of the bond lifecycle, the rise of stablecoins, and the critical role of data standards in enabling the adoption of new and emerging technologies encouraging interoperability. The webinar concluded with a live Q&A session, offering APAC participants the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the speakers.
