Overview
Europe is at a decisive turning point. As highlighted by the Draghi Report, future competitiveness will depend on mastering the technologies shaping the global economy.
The ICMA Future Leaders (IFL) Iberia Region hosted an engaging discussion on the innovations transforming Europe's future. Together, participants explored the latest advances in European quantum computing, AI, and data-intensive systems, and how these technologies are expected to reshape the financial sector and the wider economy.
Looking beyond today's challenges, the discussion examined how finance may evolve in the years ahead, the opportunities and risks that future generations will encounter, and the role Europe can play in building a secure, competitive, and technologically sovereign future.
This event was conducted in English and offered both online and in-person participation options. A networking reception was held following the event for in-person attendees.
Admission: This event was free to attend and open to all interested market participants.
