Overview

AI adoption is surging, yet most executives still can't point to a measurable productivity gain. Both things are true, and the gap between them isn't talent. It's training, environment and trust.

Drawing on a decade interviewing the people who run the global economy, and her current work with senior leaders across global finance, central banking and the Fortune 500, Angie Lau explains why the same AI deployment produces two very different teams: one that accelerates, and one that quietly drifts back to old habits. She introduced RECCA™, a framework of five human capabilities (Resilience, Emotional Intelligence, Creativity, Communication, Adaptability), and showed how leaders either activate or suppress them through everyday implementation choices.

This talk explored one of the most pressing questions in today's workplace: as AI takes over routine tasks, how can junior professionals continue to develop the judgment and experience needed to succeed? The programme featured a fireside chat after the talk, which explored how young professionals can continue to learn and develop, what senior leaders and sponsors should do differently, and practical steps that attendees can apply immediately in their own roles. Attendees left with a practical way to redesign the learning path, a clear picture of a team that thinks with AI rather than just using it, and a way to keep building their own judgment as execution gets cheaper.

Key speaker: Angie Lau, Founder, Authentic Intelligence™

Angie Lau is a former Bloomberg TV global anchor and the founder of Authentic Intelligence™, which helps senior leaders build the human capabilities that make AI productive. Over more than 25 years in broadcast and global media, she interviewed the people who run the global economy, and she now works with around 100 senior leaders across global finance, central banking and the Fortune 500. Angie founded Forkast.News, the Hong Kong-born media outlet, and is a professional keynote speaker and moderator. She also runs Life Beyond School, an education program for children and families.
